Medical tattoo business applies to open shop

A PARAMEDICAL tattoo business is planned for Banora Point.

Deanne Carney owns Skin Deep Cosmetic and Paramedical Tattoo and is seeking approval to open her home business at Oyster Point Rd.

"Cosmetic and paramedical tattooing is a speciality service," the application stated.

"The proposed development reduces the need for similar services within local retail centres, which would require a much higher annual turnover for ongoing financial viability and success.

"The services provided by the proposed development are accessed predominately by women aged 25-65 years of age and men over 50 years of age."

The development application stated that many clients requiring paramedical services such as areola and nipple creation and scar camouflage have.

Ms Carney was unavailable for comment yesterday on the business.
