Midnight in Paris a rare gem

CHARMING is the only way to describe Woody Allen's latest directing effort.

Daily News readers were treated to a sneak peak of Midnight in Paris at Events Cinema Robina on Wednesday night.

This romantic comedy shows the French capital at its most enchanting.

It tells the story of a Hollywood writer (Wilson) who is visiting Paris with his high-maintenance fiancee (McAdams) and her family.

In love with the beauty of the city and determined to move there to inspire his writing, Wilson embarks on a series of midnight strolls.

With a little time travel magic, he's soon exploring the Paris of years gone by and conversing with the likes of Ernest Hemingway, Salvador Dali and Pablo Picasso.

This film is a must for those who know how easy it is to fall in love with this great city and those who dream of visiting.

A rare gem.
