Missing coast woman found dead
A WOMAN reported missing from Southport last week has been found dead.
Police made the announcement at a press conference on the Gold Coast this morning.
About 3.30am on Friday, the elderly woman left her address in Southport and failed to return.
Police were concerned for her welfare as she suffered a medical condition and did not speak English.
Police are not treating the death as suspicious and are preparing a report for the coroner.
