Missing Pottsville girl returned to her father

A MISSING 11-year-old from Pottsville has been returned to her father.

Yesterday, Queensland police retrieved the girl from a relative who had taken her to Bowen, in North Queensland.

Tweed-Byron duty officer Bill Darnell said a Federal Court order stating the girl had to be returned to her father had been served.

"She's been returned safe and well," he said.

"Her father was flying up today."
