Mixed weather with fine conditions from Sunday

The patchy weather around Tweed didn't stop the Wynter family as they enjoyed some of the sunshine at Coolangatta beach.

Having come up from Geelong, Victoria, to leave behind wet and cold weather for a week hoping to enjoy our warm temperature and clear beaches.

Over the next few days the weather is expected to be partly cloudy with a shower or two. There will be light south to south west-winds, tending to light to moderate east to north-east winds during the mornings.

Temperatures are expected to range between 15 to19 degrees.

From Sunday it will be sunny, but temperatures will be lower at between 7 and 18 degrees.

"The sun is great up here and the water is nice and warm and quite refreshing." Lachlan Wynter said

"It is our first time up here and it is great, I love all the sand you get on the beaches."
