Mojo Webb to bring blues and roots to Condong

TWEED will get the chance to rock out with popular band The Mojo Webb band this month.

The band has forged a unique path in the Australian music scene with the original brand of blues and roots.

Tweed Valley Jazz Club has asked the trio of Mojo Webb, Coojee Timms and JB Lewis to perform at the Condong Bowling Club.

Jazz club member Virginal Field said the band had toured the nation, performing at major music festivals including Womadelaide, The Blues Festival, The Byron Bay Blues and Roots Festival, The Thredbo Blues Festival & The Caloundra Music Festival, among others.

"This time they're coming to the Tweed performing at the Condong Bowling Club on June 28th," she said.

"Their live performances are the stuff of legend."

The band formed in 1998 and since then have had one heck of a ride.

They released their debut album The Cat last year.

It only took 13 years but they finally did it and fans say it does not disappoint.

The Show starts at 6pm with The Blind Willie Wagtail and Mojo Webb on stage at 7.30pm

Tickets are $15 or $10 for members and concession. To book call 02 6677 7172.
