Molendinar robber refused bail
A BURLEIGH man charged with the attempted armed robbery of an adult services premise at Molendinar was refused bail as Southport Magistrates Court earlier today.
Stephen Leslie Wilson, 32, faced court on a charge of attempted armed robbery and two charges of willful damage.
Police alleged that Wilson entered the property in the early hours of Monday morning and after a brief confrontation with staff he produced a knife and demanded money.
He was kicked out of the premises and damaged the business owner’s car before leaving the scene.
He is to appear again at the Southport Magistrates Court on September 30.
