Motorcyclist hospitalised after colliding with kangaroo

A MOTORCYCLE rider has been taken to hospital after colliding with a kangaroo on the Southern Downs.

Emergency services were called to Warwick Killarney Rd, about 5km south of Warwick, shortly before 4.45am.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said the man was treated for abrasions to his arms and legs.

He was taken to Warwick Base Hospital.
