Motorcyclist killed after hitting road sign

A MOTORCYCLIST has died in a crash near Beenleigh overnight.

Police say preliminary information suggests the 31-year-old was travelling east along Stubbin Street at Belivah when it left the roadway and struck a sign around 10pm.

The Beenleigh man was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
