Mt St Pats continues HSC tradition

MT St Patrick College at Murwillumbah has continued its tradition of acing the HSC with 38 of its students making the Board of Studies Distinguished Achievers list.

The students made the list by scoring the highest band of six, or a mark of 90 or above, in at least one subject.

Exceptional individual results included Georgina Doyle, 97 in senior science; Jordan Short 95 in industrial technology; Benjamin Harris 94 in general mathematics; Zoe Heiniger 94 in personal development, health and physical education and Nardia Hancock 94 in visual arts.

Two year 11 students, undertaking a maths acceleration program, scored band six - Monique McLean and Harley Gray.

Lindisfarne Anglican Grammar School had 14 students make the high achievers list in 26 subjects.

Fourty seven other students achieved a high band give representing a mark of 85 to 89 out of 100.
