Murbah FC dishes out flogging

THE full-time hooter couldn't come quick enough for Bond Uni players and supporters at Jim Devine Field last night when hosts Murwillumbah FC dished out a 12-0 flogging.

The victory maintains MFC's unbeaten run this season and cements their position at the top of the ladder on 16 points ahead of Surfers Paradise and Tweed United who share second possie on 14 points.

Tweed United is also playing in great touch in 2012 as shown by their comprehensive 4-1 victory over Musgrave last Saturday.

It wasn't so good up in the Premier Division where Tweed Valley Kings sustained a heavy 9-2 loss to Broadbeach United at Broadbeach Oval last night.

The lopsided loss has certainly put a huge dent in the Kings' prospects of figuring in the end-of-season playoffs.
