Mur’bah has a health check to improve business
MURWILLUMBAH businesses are questioning what they can do better.
Many of the town's residents will attend a Business Health Check meeting on March 19 to discuss the finer details of a large survey conducted with local businesses.
The Business Extension and Retention Survey has recently been doing the rounds with Murwillumbah locals and over 400 businesses have been interviewed to find out how the town can improve and grow sustainably.
Murwillumbah District Business Chamber president Toni Zuschke is looking forward to the chance to unify the town's community.
"We've been looking to find a diagnosis for the perceived problems we have," she said.
"It's taking a pulse on business in Mur'bah."
She said some detailed analysis would provide helpful information to the town's close-knit community.
"We actually put the info together and collated it and we're hoping to release the findings," she said.
"We'll see what's number one on the list to tackle first," she said.
People who come along will have a chance to meet new and important commerce partners and have their say on an action plan for the town.
The meeting will be held at Greenhills on Tweed at 131 River St, Murwillumbah from 5.30pm to 7pm.
