Murder charge for man, 41, after fight goes wrong

A FIGHT that ended with a 50-year-old man falling to his death at a Brisbane unit complex has led police to charge a 41-year-old with murder.

The pair started fighting at 5.54PM at a unit block on Norman Terrace in Enoggera, according to police.

In the fray, 50-year-old fell down a set of stairs and struck his head on a concrete path.

The 41-year-old was to be charged with attempted murder, with his alleged victim taken to Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital..

When the 50-year-old died overnight, police upgraded the charge.

The alleged murderer will face Brisbane Magistrates Court this morning.
