Premiership win to Murwillumbah Football Club
MURWILLUMBAH Football Club has won the minor premiership in the Gold Coast Premier League
The strong squad drew with Mudgeeraba nil all on the weekend to bring their historic undefeated streak to 18.
"The boys were pretty ecstatic," captain-coach David Lonie said.
"Everyone was over the moon about it.
"We've got another three regular season games...we'd love to go undefeated for the rest of the season."
Mudgeeraba were "throwing everything" at Murwillumbah Football Club during the crucial game, but neither could not bypass strong defences to take the win decisively.
