My Kitchen Rules Tugun lads have no plan for food career

THE Tugun teachers cooking up a storm on My Kitchen Rules have told TV viewers they have no plans for a food career.

Unlike other teams trying to make a culinary name for themselves on reality cooking shows with the hope of a cook book deal and future as a celebrity chef, the pair have said they are happy where they are.

Paul Bullpit and Blair Tonkin appeared on Channel 7 show Better Homes and Gardens on Friday night, showing host Johanna Griggs around Burleigh Heads and cooking for her at Paul's Tugun home.

When Johanna asked the boys if they had plans for a career in food, she seemed stunned when they simply said "no."

They explained they were happy in their current career as teachers.

The pair have previously told the Daily News they would like to run a school-based version of the cooking show at school.

The boys consistently score highly in all challenges.
