Neighbours unaware of double death

UPDATE: Neighbours first learnt of the violent death of two people in Robina when police arrived on the scene today.

Police arrived at about 8am after a relative of one of the victims discovered the two bodies while visiting the address.

Gold Coast police said both victims showed signs of a struggle and some trauma, but residents living in the area told the Daily News they did not hear or witness any activity from the unit in the hours before the bodies were discovered.

Neighbours living opposite the unit complex were unaware of the deaths until police taped off the crime scene.

Police were searching for two children who also lived at the address, but were not found with the bodies.
