New book celebrates our 2010 babies

THE experience of welcoming a new member to the family is one of the great joys of life.

In 2010, hundreds of families in the Tweed and southern Gold Coast region were blessed by the birth of a child.

Each week, the Tweed Daily News has paid visits to the Murwillumbah, Tweed and John Flynn hospitals to photograph these bundles of joy and help those families to share their news with the wider community.

On Monday, the Tweed Daily News will publish the 2010 Bumper Baby Book, featuring hundreds of pictures of babies born in our region in 2010.

The 40-page Bumper Baby Book will be a souvenir memento that will be a wonderful and uplifting record of 2010’s new faces.

The majority of the baby photos were taken by the Tweed Daily News’s own baby photographer, Karen Harper.

“I love taking my baby photos. They’re just so beautiful,” Karen said.

To make sure you get your Bumper Baby Book, don’t miss Monday’s edition of the Tweed Daily News.
