TWEED Seagulls Football Club boss Terry Keen made it clear it was a team effort getting the new clubhouse at Piggabeen finished at its official opening over the weekend

The new clubhouse  with its outdoor  viewing area covered in Astroturf looked the goods on the sunny Sunday afternoon.

With a big crowd at Piggabeen for the clash between the Seagulls and Brisbane's North's Devils, Mr Keen and other guests opened the clubhouse.

"It has just been a huge team effort really, none of this gets done without allot of help from everyone, and a big thanks has to go out to the new crew," Mr Keen said.

The Toohey's New Crew led by Paul Harrigan spent the week of August 6 through to Sunday August 11 when the clubhouse was officially opened.

"We are just really glad you guys, the fans and public, can enjoy the beautiful new clubhouse and it should be a great game of footy this afternoon," Mr Harrigan said.
