Riva Vue release titles this week

BUYERS in stage one and two at Metricon’s $23 million Riva Vue development at Murwillumbah are a step closer to building their dream home after titles were released this week.

The release of titles is set to spur a flurry of construction as 30 buyers realise the dream of building their own home.

Riva Vue project manager Dale Scotcher, said the latest development was a project milestone.

“Once people have their plans approved by council, we expect to see a lot of activity with builders moving onsite. Riva Vue will really come to life,” he said.

“This is a major milestone for Riva Vue and we are all very excited to see the first house start construction on site.”

Riva Vue is selling lots from stages one and two with blocks ranging in size from 653 to 1555sq m. Prices start from $165,000 for land only.

Dale Scotcher said Murwillumbah has been identified as a property watch research hot spot for 2009 with median house prices well below the Tweed region average. He said it had caught many off guard.

“The response from the local market for property in Riva Vue has been overwhelming and the obvious drawcard for this development is the opportunity to purchase house and land in a new development at the same price as purchasing an existing, older home in the area,” he said.

Riva Vue has been carefully designed to not impede on the rural landscape and it incorporates many features which will enhance the public facilities already on offer in Murwillumbah.
