New tough iPhone case promises complete protection

AUSSIES are generally pretty tough on mobile phones.

Cracked, scratched and water logged phones are common occurrences thanks to the way we live.

But Gold Coast businessman George Perdikas and his partner Enzo Carrara of Fantom Products have created a new phone case perfect for our lifestyles.

The case, designed for the iPhone 5, guarantees to preserve the phone from the effects of drops, bumps, water and the elements in general.

The pair, who runs CMI Accessories on the Gold Coast, developed the shock and water proof case in partnership with Swiss designers, targeting tradies, surfers, boaties and anyone else who does not want to worry about their phone being damaged.

"The case is three metres water proof, we started working on the design in April this year and released it onto the market about two weeks ago," Mr Perdikas said.

The case is being sold all over the world, something that is keeping the Mr Perdikas and Mr Carrara very busy.

"Since the release we have been really busy which is great," Mr Perdikas said.
