Fans ravage new X-Men trailer with two million views

THE first trailer for upcoming X-Men blockbuster Days of Future Past has clocked up more than two million views in the first 12 hours.

The anticipated film brings together an all star cast from the original trilogy, which ran 2000 to 2006, as well as the reboot X-Men: First Class from 2011.

Days of Future Past will borrow heavily from the acclaimed X-Men comic storyline of the same name, which sees mutants travel through time to meet their past selves in order to avoid a devastating war.

It will star Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Halle Berry, Peter Dinklage and more.

It's due for release in May 2014.
