Nominations open for Science Awards for Young People

YOUNG innovators and scientists can now apply for the 2013 Science and Innovation Awards for Young People in Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry.

Agriculture Minister Senator Joe Ludwig said applications were now open for grants of up to $22,000 for innovative projects across Australia's agriculture, fisheries, forestry, food and natural resource sectors.

The awards are open to people aged 18 to 35 who have a project that could help Australia's primary industries.
