Noosa Festival of Surfing - Day 6

WITH all divisions down to semi finals and finals stage and the excellent surf forecast this year’s GSI Noosa Festival of Surf is set to enjoy a great final weekend.

First Point Noosa Heads continued to serve up excellent clean small waves on Friday and with a further increase in swell forecast for the entire weekend the finals are set to be spectacular.

The Association of Surfing Professionals (ASP) Golden Breed Pro and Banana Boat Women’s Pro finals will definitely run Saturday starting at 11:45am for the Banana Boat final and immediately followed by the Men’s Golden Breed final at 12:15pm.

Taylor Jensen and Christian Wach, both USA Californian based surfers will take on local hero’s Harrison Roach and Josh Constable in the Golden Breed final and a large crowd are certain to line Noosa’s First Point to cheer on the local boys.

Chelsea Williams (AUS, Tweed Heads/NSW) will be chasing her fourth Banana Boat win tomorrow and the current ASP World number two rated Women’s Longboarder is eager to surf.
