NORTEC offers community help

NOT-for-profit organisations on the Tweed can apply for a share of a $25,000 grant being offered by Tweed-based NORTEC Employment and Training.

The money is being made available through their Community Grants Initiative.

Applicants must demonstrate the ability to utilise the money for community capacity building in the Northern Rivers.

“The Community Grants Initiative is our way o introducing ourselves to the new regions that NORTEC will be servicing and investing back into the new communities our team have lived in and been committed to for many years now,” NORTEC CEO Paul Bennett said.

“It is our way of showing the community what NORTEC is all about - encouraging sustainable and successful communities.”
