Northern United flair seals win

THE Northern Rivers Regional Rugby League A grade final will be between Lower Clarence and Northern United after United defeated Mullumbimby 22-14 at Les Donnelly Field in Mullumbimby yesterday.

On a day which saw just how it will be in the respective grand finals, the competition 'newcomers', Northern United, showed too much flair for Mullumbimby to book a berth with the minor premiers at the Maclean Showground next Sunday.

In reserve grade, Evans Head downed Ballina 44-12 to contest the grand final against Mullumbimby.

Meanwhile in the under 18s, Ballina defeated Northern United 20-10 to fight out the grand final against Kyogle next week.

This year's Northern Rivers Regional Rugby League grand finals will see six different clubs represented.

The action next Sunday commences with the under 18s at 11am, the reserve grade at 12.45pm and the A grade at 2.45pm
