NSW hits COVID vaccine milestone

More than 10,000 frontline workers have now received their first COVID jab.

Premier Gladys Berejiklian has announced that in the first week of administering the vaccine, 10,339 people have got a shot.

She said the state is "well on track" to meeting the target of 35,000 jabs in three weeks.

More to come.
