Runaway rams police cars after robbery goes wrong
THREE police cars were rammed and an officer injured during a botched chemist robbery in Sydney on Tuesday.
A man in a ute allegedly drove through the front window of a Hurstville chemist, got out of his use, stole a number of items and fled.
Police allege the ute then returned and when the driver spotted police parked nearby he rammed two patrol cars before he sped away.
Soon after police attempted to stop the ute but the driver allegedly reversed into the police car before getting away again.
The ute was later found abandoned and about 9.30am a man and woman were arrested.
Investigations are continuing.
