One of five contaminated pools opened
ONE of the five swimming areas Gold Coast City Council closed last week because of enterococci bacteria was opened today.
Lake Hugh Muntz was opened after three consecutive days of acceptable level of bacteria recorded.
It’s the second time this year that the swimming areas were closed due to contamination.
The four remaining swimming areas, on Tallebudgera and Currumbin creeks, are still closed.
