One way or another Kingscliff shop owners are happy

KINGSCLIFF'S shop proprietors on Marine Parade are happy all the road works have finished outside their shop fronts and hope the parking problem of the past is gone.

Sorayah Ubaldino of the shop Se Bliss said, "I think the development that has happened out in the street will be a good thing in the long term."

"Although, when the road works were happening it did interrupt business a little bit."

However, Mydailynews.com.au noticed the road is now very narrow and may create difficulty for cars with caravans coming down the one-way to camp at the caravan park on the tourist strip.

Linda Jackwitz of Kingscliff News said "The idea was good to add more car parks I just think the planning was wrong"

"The aesthetics look good with the trees and what they're done; however making it a one way has become a problem here in Kingscliff"

The big test will come at the end of the year with the many tourists enjoying the area.
