P-plate driver rolls car
AN 18-year-old P-plate driver lost control of her vehicle while driving on Terranora Rd in Banora Point yesterday.
The car turned on its side when the driver lost control between 3.45pm and 4pm DST.
Tweed Heads Senior Constable Brad Foster said both police and ambulance attended the scene.
"The driver did not suffer any injuries and she was not taken to the hospital," Snr Cnst Foster said.
"She declined medical treatment at the scene."
Snr Cnst Foster said the driver was then taken to the Tweed Heads Police Station where her mother was expected to collect her.
"The car was then towed from the scene on Terranora Rd," Snr Const Foster said.
This is not the first time this year police have been called to an incident on this road.
A head-on car crash on the same road in July had police urging motorists to stop, revive and survive.
In May a 70-year-old woman was taken to Tweed Hospital after the Subaru Impreza she was driving collided with a truck on Terranora Rd.
