P-plater involved in crash on Minjungbal Drive
A CRASH has occurred at Minjungbal Drive, Tweed Heads and emergency services are on the scene.
A P-Plater was involved and his passenger Jackson Manni has said that the accident occurred after the P-Plater accelerated out of Shallow Bay Drive to merge onto Minjungbal Drive, clipping another vehicle in the process.
"He was merging out of there [next to KFC], spun out and tapped him"
Tow truck driver at the scene Craig Mitchelson said that he didn't see anyone injured.
Three ambulances and two police cars were on the scene, and officers were directing traffic around the collision.
Tweed Police said they were unable to comment on the matter.
