Palm Beach man charged with robbery of a house

A PALM Beach man was charged following a robbery at Upper Coomera overnight.
About 8.30pm the 31-year-old man allegedly smashed a glass door at a Melissa St house and assaulted a 25-year-old man at the address.
The victim sustained swelling and a bruise to his face after the incident.
The Palm Beach man was charged with burglary and commit indictable offence and is due to appear at Coolangatta Magistrates Court on February 4.
