PCYC golf day tees off Friday

TWEED Heads PCYC is teeing off its annual charity golf day on Friday with a four-ball Ambrose event at the Cool- angatta and Tweed Heads Golf Club.

Tweed Heads PCYC manager Mark Madden said he was thrilled with the re- sponse from local businesses.

“We’ve received some outstanding support from local businesses for the golf day and have fantastic prizes and raffle items available,” Mr Madden said.

The event is now in its seventh year, and as well as being a lot of fun, allows business people to network in a relaxed atmosphere.

The golf day will commence at 12.30pm with a shotgun start. Businesses are still invited to take part in the event, which includes the game, lunch and drinks on course and a barbecue dinner later in the evening.

“We still have a few spots available for teams and hole sponsors, but people will need to be quick,” Mr Madden said.
