JM Barrie's story has delighted fans of all ages since it first appeared in print in 1902.
Peter Pan is a mischievous boy who can fly and never ages.
He spends his never-ending childhood adventuring on the small island of Neverland as the leader of his gang, The Lost Boys, interacting with mermaids, Native Americans, fairies, pirates, a crocodile and occasionally ordinary children from the world outside Neverland.
In addition to two distinct works by Barrie, the character has been featured in a large variety of plays and movies and merchandise, both adapting and expanding the Scottish author's works.
