A PIG hunter has hit back at critics after she posted a photo on social media with a dead joey's neck in her mouth.

Natalie Cepeniuk posted the graphic photo on Facebook with the comment "I may have deep throated a joey's neck".

The image was widely criticised on social media, with the RSPCA reportedly confirming to Nine News that they were investigating the case.

Ms Cepeniuk, who is a former partner of Farmer Wants a Wife contestant Lachlan McAleer, took to social media to hit back at the "greenies and haters".

She said the joey was humanely killed after its mother jumped in front of her Ute.

"How is it animal cruelty if the joey was dead?" she said.

Ms Cepeniuk said she had "guts of steel" and did not believe doing a dare was worth "the carry on".

"Unlike all you sour c*** I like to make light of bad situations which is exactly what I did. Go and have a cry to someone else, cause I really couldn't give a s***."
