Pizza robbers have a go at the dough - four times

ROBBERS with a craving for pizza have hit four Brisbane stores after 2am on Tuesday, smashing their way in to steal cash.

Police are investigating the incidents, which took place at Crust Pizza outlets at Annerley, Hawthorne, Paddington and Ascot.

According to police, the Hawthorne shop was hit first at 2.20am, with the intruders smashing in through the front glass door.

Just 20 minutes later, the Annerley store copped the same.

Police believe the criminals escaped with cash.

Ascot and Paddington sites were targeted later, but police were yet to establish if anything was stolen.
