Pizza robbers refused bail
BREAKING: THREE men who threatened a pizza delivery man with a wooden stake and demanded he hand over the pizza have been refused bail.
Police have alleged at about 11.50pm Saturday, a 27-year-old pizza delivery driver was assaulted while making a delivery to a house in Water St, Tweed Heads.
Police said the group of four adults threatened the delivery man with a wooden stake and demanded he hand over the pizza.
The group then left the area and the man alerted police to the incident.
Police conducted a patrol of the area and located the alleged offenders at a nearby house.
Three men and a woman were arrested and taken to Tweed Heads Police Station.
All four were charged with robbery and weapons offences and appeared in Tweed Heads Local Court today.
Toasie Togo, Nai Ivey and Harley Trindall will be remanded in custody until July 5 when they face Lismore District Court.
The woman is yet to appear before the court.
