Plates, petrol stolen: do you know these people?
Case 1
POLICE are appealing for information in identifying and locating the driver of a vehicle shown in this CCTV footage.
On Sunday, July 27, the driver of a white VW Jetta sedan, registration number ZCE248, allegedly failed to pay for petrol at a Chinderah service station.
The vehicle shown in CCTV footage is displaying Victorian number plates that have since been reported as stolen. Police believe the driver may be residing, working or travelling locally in the Tweed area.
Police have released CCTV images of a person they would like to speak to in relation to the incident.
The male shown in this picture has a fair complexion, with short, light-coloured hair.
He is wearing sunglasses, blue/grey baseball cap, dark jumper, board shorts and white sneakers.
Case 2
POLICE are appealing for information in identifying the driver and passenger of a vehicle shown in this CCTV footage.
On Wednesday, July 2, the driver of a black Subaru Liberty sedan, registration number 481DXG, allegedly failed to pay for petrol at a Chinderah service station.
The vehicle is displaying Queensland number plates that have since been reported stolen. The stolen plates were also used in another fail to pay for petrol offence on Tuesday, July 15 at Heatherbrae in NSW. Police believe the driver and his female passenger may be known in the Tweed area.
The male has a dark complexion and is wearing a black and red baseball cap, black jacket, jeans and sneakers. The female has a fair complexion with long blonde hair and is wearing black clothing.
