Police appeal for help to find Banora shooting culprits

TWEED Byron Local Area Command have launched Strike Force Kulalye to investigate shootings in Banora earlier this month.

About 3.25am on February 3 gunshots were fired into a home at Anthony Ave and a short time later shots were fired at a car parked in nearby Laura St.

No one was injured during the shootings.

Police investigations indicate the shots were fired from a white-coloured car.

They are appealing for anyone who saw a white coloured car driving at high speed in Banora Point around the time of the shooting to come forward

Investigators would also like to speak with the registered owner of the vehicle.

Anyone with information about the shooting, or the current whereabouts of the car involved, should call Tweed police station on 07 5536 0999 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
