Police charge man over Wavell Heights shooting

QUEENSLAND Police have charged a man following a shooting that occurred in Wavell Heights on December 10.

Police were called to Campbell Terrance around 6am where a woman had sustained an injury to her chest that police will allege was caused by a firearm.

A 30-year-old Boondall man has been charged with one count of grievous bodily harm and unlawful possession of a weapon.

He was due to face Brisbane Magistrates Court on Tuesday morning.
