Police find million dollar money truck

MILLIONS in cash has been found in the back of a truck during a routine intercept. 

The cash was discovered in a semi-trailer after it was stopped by police at Merebein in the North of Victoria, Wednesday morning.

Police have charged a 41-year-old man after more than two million dollars in cash was allegedly discovered.

Officers also found a small amount of drugs while searching the vehicle.

The intercept took place on the Sturt Highway at 6 am in the morning.

Big Rigs understands the driver also had an outstanding warrant for his arrest and was taken into custody.

He was charged with dealing with proceeds of crime and possess a drug of dependence.   The Deer Park man will appear in Mildura Magistrates' Court today.
