Police: Girl not abducted

GOLD Coast police have assured the public that a 13-year-old girl rumoured to be missing from the Pines Shopping Centre at Elanora this month was not abducted.

The police are working with the mother of the girl to confirm her location but do not believe there is an immediate threat to her welfare.
