Police hunt armed bank robber
GOLD Coast police are looking for a man who robbed a Burleigh Heads bank today.
A man held up Westpac Bank on James Street, Burleigh Heads at about 1.10pm.
Police said they were not sure of the weapon used but believed it was a firearm. Detectives were viewing CCTV footage of the robbery to identify the weapon.
No one was injured during the robbery and the offender escaped with cash.
