Police hunt ‘circle work’ driver who rolled car at Uki

POLICE are searching the person who crashed a stolen car near Uki at the weekend.

Tweed Police Inspector Jim Cain said the white Toyota Hilux, which was reported stolen from a Murwillumbah address, was found rolled over on Kyogle Rd near Uki on Saturday.

Insp Cain said police attended the scene between about 8pm on Saturday.

He said it appeared the driver was doing "circle work" on a grassy area before losing control and rolling the vehicle.

The driver left the scene before police arrived.
