Police hunt men after shots fired in Tweed home invasion
SHOTS were fired during a home invasion in Tweed West on Monday morning.
Shortly before 7am, three men - two bearing firearms - forced their way into a Wyuna Rd home.
The assailants fired shots at a 58-year-old man and threatened a 25-year-old man, before fleeing in a white Ford sedan.
No one was injured during the incident.
Police established a crime scene at the home, with investigations involving specialist forensic officers and detectives.
With investigations ongoing, police wish to speak to three men who might be able to help with their inquiries.
The first man is about 168cm tall and was last seen in a black hooded jacket and black track pants.
The second man is about 165cm tall and was last seen also wearing a hooded jumper and track pants.
The third man was only described as wearing a hooded jumper.
It's believed all three men were wearing gloves and face masks.
