
Police investigate car dumped and set alight at Piggabeen
A CAR was dumped in Tweed on Tuesday morning and set alight.
Rural Fire Service Far North Coast operations officer Bob Wilcox said crews attended the Piggabeen fire about 8am.
He said while the car was completely burnt out, there was no immediate threat to the surrounding area.
"We don't believe any people were injured," Mr Wilcox said.
"It was just another dumped car."
No further information is available at this time, but police are believed to be investigating the incident.
