Police investigate woman's death at Kangaroo Point

POLICE are investigating the death of a woman after a body was found in a Kangaroo Point apartment on Thursday.

Emergency services were called to the Macleay Tower and Villas on Goodwin Street about 5.30am.

The circumstances surrounding the woman's death are unclear but at this stage, police are treating the case as suspicious.

Police at the complex, including scenes of crime officers, were expected to remain at the scene for the rest of the day.

Investigators are expected to provide further details on Thursday afternoon.
