Police investigate possible shooting of car at Bilinga

GOLD Coast police are investigating whether shots were fired into a car at Bilinga this morning.

According to a police statement, "projectiles" hit an unoccupied parked car in a driveway at Coolangatta Rd at about 2am.

"Inquiries are being made to establish if the projectiles were fired from a firearm," police said in a statement.

"No one was injured during the incident."
