GOLD Coast police are investigating suspicious behaviour by two men at Palm Beach on Saturday afternoon.

Police said sometime between 4pm and 5pm (Qld) two 12-year-old girls were approached and spoken to by two men on Parnki Pde.

Investigations revealed that the girls were playing on a driveway when three men in a Toyota Landcruiser stopped nearby.

Two of them exited the vehicle and walked over to the 12-year-olds.

The girls ran from the men and the vehicle drove away.

Police are looking for the driver (pictured) who was described as aged in his 40s with sandy blonde hair.

The front passenger was believed to have brown hair and the rear passenger is described as having shoulder-length blond hair.

The 4WD was described as mustard in colour. It was fitted with roof racks and a bull bar with fishing rods attached.
