Police investigating reported stabbing in North Rockhampton

A WOMAN has been reportedly stabbed in the neck in Thozet Road, Frenchville, just before midnight, a Queensland Ambulance spokesman this morning confirms.

The woman, 45, is this morning in a serious condition in Rockhampton Hospital.

The spokesman says ambulance officers have been called to Thozet Rd, where she has been picked up and transported to the hospital.

A Police Media spokeswoman said the woman, whose face and clothes were covered in blood, was in Thozet Rd trying to flag cars down to help her.

But cars were too frightened to pull over to help her.
